Oulx because it is our soulful village in Piedmont, Italy. A small, welcoming, special, very chic place with a vibe of stories in front of the fireplace, a space where both inside and outside you feel one with nature and the landscape. The place where we have returned so many times… an emotion that inspired us to create this little house where you will always want to come back, which will call you again and again and where you will be vicini vicini (as the Italians would say).
Sestriere comes from the Latin petra Sistraria which means the sixth milestone on the old Roman road between Turin (Italy) and Briancon (France) – and the Sestriere Cottage is the 6th building of The Cliff Village and is located in the immediate vicinity of the Briancon Cottage. Just as the town of Sestriere is known as an iconic place for amateur astronomers who want to observe the starry sky, the terrace of the Sestriere Cottage offers a spectacular view of the night sky.
This Rovaniemi-like cottage is itself a metaphor for The Cliff Village – a small place in a small town – but which has so much to offer, from emotions to experiences. The wood, minimalist design, natural colors, skins and reindeer antlers transport you directly to the world of the one who fulfills all wishes.
